Silvia was born and raised in Redwood City. She was a full-time student-athlete at Belmont College from 2010-14. Her favorite soccer memory is receiving NSCAA All-American honors and Conference of Carolina Defensive Player of the Year in her senior season of 2013.

Silvia has eight years of coaching experience in club and youth organizations competing in US Club Soccer’s National Premier League and the US Soccer Development Academy. As a former Alpine Strikers player, she returned home and completed her first season with Alpine Strikers as a head coach in 2022.

Her favorite defensive player is Barcelona’s Carlos Puyol, and her favorite attacking player is US women’s Soccer Abby Wambach. She enjoys running, painting, and spending time with her family and dog in her free time.
